Northwest Chicago Street Fest

Northwest Chicago Street Fest, a journalism project that Kyle created with his brother Tyler in 2023, covers summer street festivals in Chicago. Now in its third season, Northwest Chicago Street Fest has featured prominent guests like Welshly Arms singer Sam Getz (featured on Jimmy Kimmel Live!), Phillip-Michael Scales (played on the Ellen Degeneres Show), 7th Heaven (opened for bands such as Styx and Bon Jovi), the first Chicago Poet Laureate Avery Young, and Jonathan Ellison (the King of Beale Street and winner of the WC Handy Heritage Award).
